Ancon Reserved Zone

With more than 25 types of birds, a floristic diversity of herbs and a tourist potential, the Ancon Reserved Zone was created with the purpose of conserving the biological, cultural and landscape diversity of the marine-coastal ecosystems, which are part of the ecosystem associated with the Peruvian Current (Humboldt). All this is possible thanks to the collaboration between fishermen, neighbors, local workers and the commitment of the National Service of Natural Areas Protected by the State (Sernanp). Together, they maintain this corner of nature in its best condition.
