Pamela Loli Soto is currently the communications coordinator for the Marine Governance Program of the Peruvian Society of Environmental Law, a position she has held since 2017. Previously, from 2017 to 2023, Pamela has been the communications coordinator for We Conserve by Nature.
She is a social communicator from the Universidad de San Martín de Porres and holds a Master’s in Visual Anthropology from the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú. She has experience in media and editing digital and print publications, having worked for El Comercio and Promperú, among others. In addition, her documentary work was selected for the 8th Transcinema Festival and the Hecho por Mujeres Festival.
As communications coordinator for Marine Governance, she designs, develops, and implements communications strategies for the program’s campaigns and projects, as well as performs quality control of products for social networks, publications, audiovisuals, and events related to her field.
Through her work, she has contributed to the creation and execution of communication strategies on private conservation, wildlife trafficking, plastic pollution, and sustainable fisheries, among others.
